Re: Rubicon Wheels

what about wheel spacers and safety especially highspeed driving?? I really love the look of the Rubicon wheels on a WK, however i do not want to sacrifice safety for looks?

Re: Rubicon Wheels

Hub-centric spacers are the safest way to go.

Wheel spacers are 100% safe. The only time they are unsafe is when they are not torqued properly. I has 1.5" wheel spacers on my TJ moab wheels with 315/75/16 (35x12.5 ) tires on my Xj Cherokee for 3 years and never had and issue. I took it on week long wheeling trips hundreds of miles away and wheeled it hard. Just make sure they are properly torqued.

Re: Rubicon Wheels

Any part store should sell longer studs. Ask them first for your stock ones, then get longer ones that match.

I believe that I am the first to shave the caliper to make JK moab rims fit. It's been well over a year now, with no issue at all. I even drove from AZ to NY, with no problem.

I've tried everywhere, Autozone,Car Quest,O' Reilly auto parts, Jeep dealer....They have larger ones but won't fit cause of width...
