Re: School me on SRT8 Replicas

They look like 22's with that tire. I have 275/45/20's and love they way they look and ride. If you're not satisfied don't mount them and send them back. Don't settle for something you didn't want in the first place.

Agreed. They're mounted up and actually don't look too bad. Ill be posting pictures later. I plan on lowering it a little soon so they'll tuck a bit nicer also. I'm going to see if they'll refund me an amount.

Also they sent me 19 black lug nuts and one silver one!?

We shall see what they say

I have n E-Mail into FR. Hopefully they can sort this out. Will the 275/45 be any noticeably different?

Re: School me on SRT8 Replicas

The 75/40/20 's you have are 28.661" tall & the 275/45/20 's are 29.744" tall

so you're talking about 1/2" of sidewall & 1" total height difference

Worth the hassle in your opinion?

I'm going to be lowering it within the next 6 months so they'll be tucking a bit more then. But I'd rather have a taller sidewall.

For comparison: my 22's are 28.73" and I'm on wk eibachs/bilsteins I don't like the front gap. If you are going lower then it will look better, and shorter sidewalls handle better for sure- if that's what you're into
Stock tires are 29.53" so the 45 series will be very close. if you do much highway traveling the taller 45's will serve you better in mpg's (not a ton but some)

Unfortunately everything has a compromise somewhere, But if you are just going to wk eibachs, if it were me, I'd get the 45's. If you are going lower, I'd keep the 40's

I'm getting there!

I'm the type of person who pays $1775 and expects what I order.

But I'm not going to jump through hoops just for a small issue that can be corrected by lowering it which I already plan on doing.

I guess it'll all come down to what FR says.

Re: School me on SRT8 Replicas

Ok so Jason from FR just called me, he said the ones he sent were actually for a charger or 300. I got return labels from him to ship these back. As soon as he sees they're shipped he's sending the correct ones Jason seemed to be pretty on top of the situation and is making it as simple as possible.

I'm going to be ordering the H&R'S to really sweeten the look up.

Thanks again for ALL of the input, and ill be posting some updated pictures in the near future.

Tough one for sure, I was back and forth on three
polished aluminum (I think)-gloss black-satin black.

Gloss black and chrome both suit every color Jeep well IMO.

Re: School me on SRT8 Replicas

I had polished aluminum replicas on my 04 Mustang GT and had a bad experience with them, so Im not a fan of polished. Different manufacturer though, so who knows.

Probably going with black on the white jeep
