Like kris said if you can do them yourself it would save some coin. Either way I suggest also buying new strut tops. One of my old tops has gone bad after putting in struts, and now I have to take it apart again.
I agree. After I changed my struts along with the upper bearing plate and mount, all of my suspension clunks are gone. Huge difference!
Croth I've learned after working on thousands vehicles to do it once, and do it right. I figured I could get away with one, but no the one time I try to cut one corner it comes back to bite me. UGH-LOL
Vehicle feels much better to drive. A Pair cost me £162 off eBay plus £150 for fitting as against Jeep dealer price of nearly £600! The dealer from whom we bought the vehicle in September last year contributed £100 towards cost of replacement.
