im coming from a BMW M3 and i know for a fact that using aftermarket springs will shorten the life of your stock shoks.

X2 ... stock shocks do not have the damping to work with a lowered spring, and will wear out even faster than they already do.

I got totally hammered on the labor not sure the exact amount but I have to check. Im out here in tennesse on business for a year and there isnt much around here.

which h&r's did you get? my understanding is there are a couple from them.
Also can you please measure the front from the center of the axle/hub to the fender, or at least from the edge of the rim, it'd be much easier to compare as i have stock tires at the moment.
