Speedometer Recalibration on WK 3.0 CRD

Dear You all,

I'm Laurent From France, and I own a 2,5" lifted WK Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD

I'm looking for bigger wheels but I absolutly want to recalibrate the speedometer, for the QuadraDrive to work correctly.

I'm trying to find anything compatible with CRD

Diablosport products work only with Hemi.

I found this, but don't know if it works well, and have no idea of the installation difficulty.

Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator

Perhaps anybody could help me ?

Thank you

Yeah Bullydog is bully bucks ! Not sure if it is only performance / economy most of the programmers I've seen can do a speedo recalibration ...gets fuzzy for me when we start talking about oil burners though

Re: Speedometer Recalibration on WK 3.0 CRD

I knew the Procal module, but not the EGR.

It seems to do exactly what I need

(I hope it doesn't work only with 4" lift)

Thank you, I think I have to contact AEV for more informations !!!!

I think your money would be best spent on Hypertech Speedo Calibrator. AEV EGR costs over $300.

Thank you JJT250.

Do you know the hypertech speedo calibrator ? Is it easy to install, and reliable ?

Re: Speedometer Recalibration on WK 3.0 CRD

what difference does the speedo make in relation to the quadra drive? and would two or three mph really matter that much? seems like you should get the tires and wheels than figure out if you need to spend any more money on calibration. dont spend money fixing a problem that dosent exsist yet
