SRT-8 Sway bar or Addco??

Hey guys I wanna upgrade teh swaybars on me jeep 06 Wk 3.7L
Some say they were having installement issues with the Addco... Is that true now today??

Also The addco is 188 and the OEM SRT-8 is 150 cheapest I could find. I didnt calla junk yard yet. But will to see if they have any.

What do you guys think? And is there a big performance diff from the addco to the OEM?? Thanks guys

Re: SRT-8 Sway bar or Addco??

I know a few WK1 SRT guys who had issues with the Addco sway bar. Can't remember off the top off my head what they were but they all went back to stock sway

Re: SRT-8 Sway bar or Addco??

The Addco sway bars are thicker than stock srt sway bars. I think the problem was with the rubber bushings. Hopefully someone who has done the change will correct me if i am wrong.

Have the front/rear srt swaybars on my 09. Awesome mod. Went srt over addco had an addco on my 99 wj but it was thickest addco you could buy and it was never right constantly made noise.

Re: SRT-8 Sway bar or Addco??

The srt swaybars made a world of difference in the handling. Like was said above the addcos are thicker. Even the smallest rear addco 7/8 in is a little bigger than the rear srt. Personally I would go with the srt's and avoid potential fitment issues. Good luck

Re: SRT-8 Sway bar or Addco??

Check justforjeeps that's where I got mine. There is a jeep garage discount code. Depending on what year you have will depend on whether you need the brackets or not. For my 09 the brackets are the same I just needed the bushings.
