srt reps in winter weather

so im hoping to be able to purchase some 20" srt reps this winter just wanted to see how many people leave them on all year, during winter storms etc. what kind of extra care is needed and does it effect the driving in the snow at all? i know if i get them ill want them on immediately and i probably wont want to take them off.

Re: srt reps in winter weather

I've had my chrome reps on since March 09 and haven't taken them off. We get a lot of snow around here and they salt heavily. I did NOTHING to clean them in winter and now the chrome appears to be chipping and flaking off from around the center caps on two rims. IMO the reps are cheap in quality anyways, received them with a few pits in the chrome finish, bent two rims from hitting pot holes and the finish is flaking from the areas where I got curb rash. Good thing they are cheap in price to replace.
