Re: SRT Rims

I bought the SRT reps from Factory Reproductions and love 'em. BUT... I came home one night a couple of weeks ago and I heard the dreaded TPMS chime. The EVIC said check the system. I checked the psi and it was a little low... SO I made sure all four tires were at or slightly above SRT stock psi. the thing just wont go away. Took it to the dealer today and they scanned it. Said all 4 show a malfunction.... They reflashed the ECM but didn't hold out much hope. THey were right, but I'm not paying over six hundred dollars to replace them if they are not losing air. they are seasonal tires... run them maybe 6months of the year and store them in a heated dry location, sidewall down. What the heck happened to them? Haven't called the store yet because I wanted to see if anyone here knew of a fix or what the problem might be...

Re: SRT Rims

yeah, my 06 did. it was low and i couldn't figure out for the life of me why my tpms lights wouldn't go off. All set perfect, checked the spare it was at 14lbs. filled it up and the lamp went out.

Some vehicles don't have a full size spare though, just a steelie.

How are they holding up with tires? Thanks for the help! Looking to put srt silver 20x9's on my 2008 overland. Sorry for all the questions but really debating between these and 2011 overland 20's. Tire size review would be helpful. Thanks again!

Re: SRT Rims

I got my Viper reps from FR without tires. My fronts are 20 x 9 (I have 20x10 on rears) and I am currently running a 275/40/20, however I think with my next set I will be going with a 255/50/20 to get a slightly taller sidewall. I run Toyo Proxes ST II tires and get from 40-50K miles out of them.

Speedo is slightly off (fast) at higher speeds, but I just remember this when driving. This could be easily adjusted with a tuner.

Not sure what adjustments would be required with the tranny.
