SRT8 on WK Suspension help

Hello,

I'll start off by saying that I HAVE used the search button - read through (most) of Scott's suspension thread, and this is simply for clarification purposes. I have a 2005 Limited that I am looking to bring lower to the ground.

I have a line on some used SRT Bilsteins - complete front and rear shocks and struts (with springs). Pretty close to pulling the trigger, however - will I need to upgrade to the SRT8 sway bars? for both the front and rear. As I understand it, no - but the handling gains are nice & noticeable.

If I do not upgrade the sway bars, will I damage other suspension components? If I install just the shocks, struts, springs - can I go in a year later an install the sway bars separately? Are there bushings that I should be replacing while the shocks are being replaced? Currently 128xxx KM (Canadian ).

Thanks!

i did the shocks and springs, then rear sway bar, then front. going to do links just haven't had time but have them here. it's all what you can afford at the time. at that mileage most of it is worn out anyways

Re: SRT8 on WK Suspension help

I started with springs and shocks, and eventually added front and rear sway barks with new links. I am now satisfied. I did all of this over a one year period. You can read my thread if you wish to be amused.

FAQ's and my experience lowering my WK

Thanks bobharly. I had gone over your article prior - but should have looked at the dates. Thanks
