Re: Suspension upgrade

Im contemplating adding Rusty's coils that add 2" to my future build. Anyone have these or hear anything about them? As of now im doing the RC 2" lift (which is in the mail), bilsteins HD's( still hesitant if they will work with a lift), and 1.5" RC wheel spacers. Opinions?

Re: Suspension upgrade

I would vote for the RRO BB with Bilstiens. I have had that setup on for sometime know without any issues. I am however upgrading to OME in the couple weeks.

Re: Suspension upgrade

If your contemplating stacking your lift, I would not recommend that. If your looking for more lift then you should go with the OME springs and Bilstiens all around and return your RC BB.

Re: Suspension upgrade

How much more lift would the OME springs give me rather than the RC BB? I do like the OME, especially because it would provide a spring upgrade rather than just adding spacers.

Re: Suspension upgrade

You will get 3 inches from the OME HD springs.

Re: Suspension upgrade

either way you go, you will be happy. just don't go stacking lifts unless you install a Superlift.

Re: Suspension upgrade

Thanks all for the help. I think I'm gonna stick with me RC lift out of convenience. I am still hesitant on the Bilsteins. I have a 3.7 and am worried that the addition of the hD shocks will tighten up my suspension and I do not want to lose any ride quality. Ahhh decisions.

Re: Suspension upgrade

Bilsteins = superior ride quality IMO.
