Sway Bar Bushing Replacement and Lowering Spring Questions

I am looking to replace my front sway bushings. They have seen better days, and have been making some noise lately. I put some silicone on them and the noise went away, but I think that is just a temporary fix.

I upgraded to the SRT sway bar about 3 years ago... I got it used from a member on the red site. The bushings "seemed" okay at that time so I used those. I was looking on J4J and found them for $32.00 which is fine. I wanted to see if anybody has had luck with upgrading bushings??? Or should I stick with the stockers??

Also, I am thinking about switching from the SRT stock springs to either the SRT Eibach lowering springs or to the SRT Bwoodys... which are more perferred??

I have the WK bilsteins installed and run a 265/40/22 tire. SRT sways front and rear... will I have any issues installing a lowering spring?

thank you for all of the help!

Re: Sway Bar Bushing Replacement- WK with SRT sway bar

Stock bushings.

Road Magnet version 2 springs.

Your rolling Dia. of your tire is 30.7" might have an issue. It will be close that's for sure.

My 275/40/20 Nitto's have a rolling Dia. of 28.62" and no issues.

Awesome, thank you. would there be a way to check for clearance prior to purchasing the springs and installing them?

I am also looking into the Bwoody sway links... any noticable benefit of having these over the stock ones?

Re: Sway Bar Bushing Replacement- WK with SRT sway bar

When I ran my winter setup BFG TA KO 265/65/17's the rolling Dia. was 30.7" same as your 22" setup and they would rub a bit at full lock and they would also hit in the rear if I went over a harsh speed bump to fast.

My BFG's are a bit skinnier than your 22's so I would have to say they will hit if you lower it anymore.

No idea on the Bwoody links I run stock sway links.
