Any updates ?

I'm recently running the same set-up with stock Moduflex wheels and Spidertrax 1.5" spacers to clear the upper A-arm "bolt". Minor rubbing on front fender liners when making sharp turns, so I'm gonna have to do the hammer pinch weld mod. Rear is fine. Tighter ride, but I'm running the BFG E-Load (10-ply), so the tires have a stiffer ride too. Probably going to bump the stock rear shocks up to OME N190's this spring.

When I had the tires installed, I brought it to their attention and they did it for me.

Hope this helps.
Don't cut the end of that ball joint stud too much. The end of it is actually an 8mm hex head, which is needed to re-install the nut on the ball joint. Unless you never plan on touching the A-arm ever again. Leave your self enough to at least get a small crescent wrench on there, or else that joint will spin free while you are trying to wrench it down. The right spacers or wheels with the right amount of backspacing give you enough clearance where you don't have to mess with the stud. But most tire shops have a no-install on spacers policy, which can be a hassle. If you do plan on getting spacers, Spidertrax spacers are both wheel and hub centric to ensure precision fit and no slipping. They cost more than other spacers, but it's not something you want to be cheap with.

That's my story & I'm stickin' to it!

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

So that hex on the end of the ball-joint is only for installing and not taking it of? If I cut the bolt, I'll just replace it with the bolts that come with the JBA UCA's.

Is that hex on the bolt only for re-installing???

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

when you do bilstein SRT shocks and bwoody springs do you need anything else to go with them. Also is there a cheaper way to lower it without having negative effects like stiff ride or is the srt shocks and bwoody springs the best way to go?

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Wussup fellas, newby here. I've been catching up on all the threads here and its been really helpfull. I was wondering if anyone has drop specs and/or compared wk eibachs vs srt eibachs on a 2wd wk? I know the srt eibachs give a lower drop but not quite sure how much more. I'm concerned because i'm already running on 275/45/20s and not sure if i'll have fender rubbing issues since my sidewall is slightly sticking out more than the fender already. I want a lower stance but still have good clearance for travel. Thanks!!!
