It made a difference for me, I really think they helped out on cornering, the bwoodys are twice as thick as the regular ones

Did you put them on after new springs and the SRT8 sway bars? Or all at once? Just seems to me like a lot of money to spend on end links. My Jeep rides a little better with the SRT8 springs and I'm sure once I put in the Bilsten shocks/struts and rear SRT8 sway bar it will make a huge improvement. Next suspension mod would be to put in the bwoody springs before I spend over $200 on end links. Just me though.

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Thanks Scott makes life easier when looking at lowering a jeep. I would eventually like to lower my jeep. The part num. on the sway bar & other parts correspond here in oz.When i rang jeep spares, the old fart went on about modifications, that vehicles should be left tre from factory. The sway bar is not available in the country, its a approx 4 week wait & about $400 for the sway bar. Then to really piss him off i asked how much for SRT wheels.$1800 PER WHEEL, he then hung up on me when i said i didn't want to update the jeep.

I put the bwoody links last my setup was bwoody springs, bilstein shocks, srt sway bars both front and rear then i ended up getting the sway bar links although you may not tell the difference the OEM sway bar links were worn out and the bushings were weak

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

I was just looking on tire rack to check prices on bilsteins. they only show part #'s 186797 front
186803 rear

showing as "new" are these the same as the BE5-D722 &721 ?

It's time to get these and I want to get the right ones.

Thanks
-Russ

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Well, they said that while it was shown as a mfg part # it was really their #, so they are really the d722's & d721's.

Just ordered them. 721's for $88 ea & 722's For $66 ea.
Thanks for the help

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Well, now that I have my wk bilsteins on the way it's time to decide on springs. I'm stuck between stock srt and wk eibachs. from what i've read the eibachs give about a 1/4" more drop(not enough to matter), but hows the ride difference? Most of my daily driving is only across town, but several times a year i travel to NJ or MI so i don't want to be cursing at it.
Scott, you've had both, right? I know you're running srt bilsteins now, but whats your opinion on the springs with wk bil's?

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

I had the WK bilsteins with the bwoody springs trust me you don't want that setup, I was in a jeep that had the bilsteins with the Eibachs and that was smooth, I would def recommend that.

It levels it out plus gives a clean look

How much lower are the Eibachs from the stock SRT8 springs? And how much nicer do they handle?

I don't know any of the dimensions, all I can tell you is from a stance point.

The stock SRT8 springs do a nice job of leveling it out also but from my knowledge they don't lower you by much.

The eibachs will lower you more.

Have you seen's iJeep's install photos ?

Here check out how the SRT8 springs on WK blisteins look like
