I have heard the front is the same...but not the rear. No idea to be honest

I have 33.5" from ground through the middle of the wheel to underside of guard with stock Limited tyres. From the centre of the wheel to the underside of the wheel arch I have 495 mm or 19.5".
Is this stock? What is yours if you know how much your lift is even.
Mine might be a little high now with the seats out, doors off and no hood, but I was standing in the door way and it only dropped it about 1/4" down to that measurement. My 6'3" frame would be about the same as the two doors off one side I think?

there is no optional suspension for the oem WK's(wh's) The only option was rear tow springs for factory installed tow packs

Thanks mate but don't know if the previous owner installed a lift. What is stock centre of wheel to underside of wheel arch measurement?
Are the Overland models any lower than Limited's too as I saw one at the dealer and was much lower than mine. Was only slightly higher than the SRT parked there as well that was a demo for sale.

Would you be so kind to tell me your centre of wheel to underside of guard please so I know at least how low I can go and still have a good ride like your setup? How far are you under stock now?

Thanks Scot,
I all ready have the rear, I was going to get the front as well... I'll see if I can find the thickness of the SRT bar and compare it to mine. Maybe I can save a few bucks.

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

I just put in bilstein shocks and struts, along with a SRT sway bar. PITA! Ended up breaking off a bottom bolt on the bushings in the process. Took me about 7 hours to do it all (including an hour to drill out the busted bolt). Next time I decide to switch up anything with the suspension I'm taking it to my mechanic buddy, well worth the $50/hr.

After the install it rides some what smoother with the Bilsteins. Better than stock, but an as amazing as I thought it would be. The SRT8 sway bar makes a HUGE difference though. This is the first thing I should have done when I purchased my Jeep.

Question - I have the stock SRT8 springs and they feel kind of stiff. Are the Eibach's any smother?

Thanks for your input 4.whoa,
thats what I saw, "no need to change the bushings" would indicate the same size bar...I'll be dropping the bar when I change out the rest of the suspension anyway (good thing I didn't already buy the front bar) and thats probably the easiest part of the swap I can always do that later, if the part I have is not right
