Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Can someone straighten something out for me. I understand the Bwoody springs are rebranded Road Magnets. Why then are the Bwoody's selling on their site for $349.99, but the Road Magnets (straight from the manufacturer, mind you) are $380. On top of that, the bwoody's come in black for no extra cost where as the RM's are in purple?

Do I have this info correct? If so, whats the deal? You may say, "just buy them from Bwoody's", but I am leaning more toward the RM #2's which have a slightly lesser drop in rear. As far as i know, Bwoody's doesnt have these.

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

In my understanding the Bwoodies are the 1.7 drop road magnets and they probably buy a lot of springs so they get a good price+free paint to rebrand and in roadmagnets favor they have the1.3 drop or is it 1,5 (can't remember) and you are dealing with the guys that make them,if you have questions or need to change the specs of the spring rate for instance

Question Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Do you have to buy new bolts and nuts to make the srt shocks and struts fit a non srt ? I got WK eibachs on stock shocks, If I just buy the rear srt shocks for now will the jeep not be level with stock struts in the front?

Thanks

Kimohens:
Yes you need bushings and bracket for both. You do not need the endlinks though.

Front: Item # 52090154AG
Rear: Item # 52124303AA
I believe it reads only the 05-06 models needed it, for the front. I will be ordering both bushings and brackets for the rear, cause I need to "i think" but idk?

http://www.justforjeeps.com/srfrswbarbu.html Add all three items to the cart to get everything for the front (Bar, Bushings, Mounts)

http://www.justforjeeps.com/srreswbarbu.html Add everything but the $209 endlinks to the cart on this page and you will have everything you need for the rear. (Bar, Bushings, Mounts)

Make sure and use the JeepGarage coupon code for an additional 5% off.

The rear RM is a 1.3" drop and the spring has a higher rate. The BWoody is 1.7' and is actually softer than the stock SRT8. I have the BWoody's. If you mod the bumpstop on the BWoodys, bottoming is not so much of a problem. If I had to do it over, I'd go with the RM or Eibach.

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

I just put on the SRT8 Eibach's and I absolutely love them! There is only about 1" of clearance at most between my new bumpstop and the spring pad. I get no bottoming out issues and it rides great for everyday driving!
