Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

All I did was replace my shocks and struts with Bilstien HDs. Rides like new!

I would be down to drop it with new springs, but I don't have the wheels to fit it hah. Rollin in 17" stockers

I just email Shockwarehouse to see if they will match or beat E Shocks price on a set of Bilsteins, if they will match E Shocks pricing and honor this forums discount code I will order them instantly, A set of Bilstein HD's delivered for less than $290 is a deal you just cannot ignore.

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

That is an amazing deal!

And yes I did. With the help of my uncle

100% do the rear shocks yourself!!!!!!!! You don't even need to jack the jeep up. You just unbolt olds, remove. Compress the new ones with your hands, install. It's 2 bolts

You could probably have a shop do the struts for about $100 total if you're worried cuz they are a Bish

Let me know what they say and who to contact, since you have already got the ball rolling on this one. Thanks.

I clicked on price match link and submitted a price match request with discount. I figure the more people who ask, the better the chance are we can score a deal.

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Apparently eshocks and allshocks is selling bilstein below distributor agreed prices, so shockwarehouse can not price match, but the did offer 6% off their regular price of 349.96, which would be 328.96.

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

I would go with shockwarehouse just from my own first hand experience with them.

Great customer service, and VERY FAST shipping. They shipped the same day of my purchase. Not a single dink or scratch in any of my bilsteins

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Anyone know what the physical differences are between the Bilstien WK and the SRT strut/shocks? I Know the WK's are a HD or heavy duty and the SRT are sport rated. But are they different lengths or ranges of motion? I am debating on whether or not to lower my truck and if I leave it stock, the WK is fine. But if I lower it, will the WK be over compressed. I know that the stock shocks tend to fail when lowered. How have they worked out long term?
