I am also surprised that the wk eibachs bottom out in the rear. I would expect you to cut the bumpstop for a larger drop like srt eibach or bwoody. When you had the wk eibachs on the front, did you have stock shocks?
I only ran the rear bilsteins with the stock springs for 1 trip (rest stock) while waiting for my springs. everything since has had the wk bilsteins. i never ran the stock struts with anything different (they came off one time and that was that )

The cut coils seem softer but i have no proof i can give, just the butt dyno. While i was in NJ i hit a nasty pothole (with my 35 series 22's no less) and the left uca hit the inner fender (talk about being pissed ) I know the srt struts are valved different and i believe they would've kept that from happening, but so would stiffer springs.

I just snapped a pic of my rear wk eibachs:

this was sitting in the garage. you can see on the 2nd coil the clean mark where it hits during travel, and also where the bumpstop hits as well.

If i could afford it, I'd get the bc coilovers. Any height you want, when you want, and as firm or soft as you want. Win-Win-Win!

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

dang! those eibachs look weird! why even make them with sit on each other like that? I would assume a stiffer coil would be better than those three sitting on one another.....

Anyone have pics of the BC coil overs? or H&R's?

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Thats what you have or are wanting to get?......

AND is there a spring out there that is factory ride height but gives a smoother and/or softer ride?

My Bilsteins are AMAZING but I figure different springs that don't have 100K on them might soften up the ride a bit as well...

Thoughts? Im not really wanting a drop..

You maybe able to call some of the lift MFG ( Rough Country , RE ,etc.) and ask I believe most will have a stock spring replacement spring that will give you a close to stock or slight lift but ,due to being a progressive spring , give you a better ride.

Decisions decisions... I think my wallet has decided on WK bilsteins but I'm not sure which springs to go with. What do you guys recommend? I have read this entire forum but still cant pull the trigger. Also, I live in Kansas so its pretty darn flat around here, roads are decent, I don't want to ever bottom out. 95% of my driving is highway at around 75mph. Thanks!
