Go with the Old Man Emu "MD" and the bilsteins. I have the OME HD with a hemi and it was a little stiff. Not too stiff but I would imagine without the weight of the hemi it would be a little rough. OME are great products, love the set I got.

That was was first choice but i dont have 800 dollars. Just looking for a quick fix to pass NY inspection. But id like to replace with something better than stock struts and springs . But not have to dish out that kind of cash to accoplish better ride and control .

The 51's are way stiffer lol. I run the 4600s up front with eibach pro lowering springs and i feel they are actually slightly under dampened. Although i preffer the front being a touch softer then the rear for corner turn in. Helps reduce understeer that way

Was going through your build threads. Sry, to hear about your medical problems. Hope it doesnt turn out to be anything serious.

You have a wicked build man! I found a lot of usefull info in your threads. For some reason a lot of your pics wouldnt open for my phone. .. Its a tad old tho lol.
Did you ever get around to throwing the twin turbo on the 3.7 ?....

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

I still need to replace my rear upper and lower control arms. Should I save my money and not get the Bwoody's and instead go with stock rear control arms? If so, what brand? As referenced in this post, I have replaced everything on my GC's suspension except for the rear control arms and I get tons of sway on the rear end. It drives me nuts. My GC has 130k miles on it now. I have put about 8k miles on my WK Bilstein/Eibach Sport setup. The Bilsteins drive me nuts and I will most likely end up special ordering the Koni FSDs in the future.

I tow my boat, blast my Hemi around the twisty back roads near my house, do highway driving and occasionally go barreling down gravel roads. No serious offroading. I just want a smooth riding, non-wobbly Jeep for once in my life (this is only my second Jeep, first was a WJ).

Re: The complete (05-10) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Are the SRT8 Eibachs still considered a total fail as mentioned in the first page of this thread? I'm planning on buying a lightly used set of these springs tomorrow (SRT8 Jeep Eibachs(Manufacturer Part #: 2892.540). Was it just a bumpstop issue? If the kit was purchsed new 6 months ago would it have included the fix (upgraded Eibach bumpstops?). Another option is i convince the seller to sell me the stock SRT8 springs, cause he has BC Racing coilovers in his SRT8 now

They'll be going on a '08 Overland Diesel with new Bilstein 4600's.

And will the drop "require" any other parts? Besides an alingment I'm assuming.
