From everyone on here that has the Bilsteins they say thats the way to go with srt lowering springs. That and remove some of the rear bumpstops for a little more travel. I have the srt Eibach lowering springs with stock WK shocks and it is a little bumpy at times.

Re: The complete (05-09) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

^^^ Even better than. I wasnt familiar with the Bwoodys, so if they come with a new bumpstop that should take care of it hitting hard in the rear like mine does. I looked back there recently and can see the marks left from the bumpstops hitting and can tell I have been beating the springs. I managed to use a long razor blade and shave off about 1/4" from the bumpstops but not that much, and it did help out somewhat.

I dont see why anything would need to be lubed in that area. Maybe check the bumpstops if they are torn.

Re: The complete (05-09) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Hey Scott,

I went to go order the SRT rear sway bar from Justforjeeps... and i asked for the specific bushings you noted in the first page of this thread (2 Bushings - Item # 52124302AA). This is what they replied to me with:

"Hi John,

Unfortunately the 52124302AA bushings are no longer available from Mopar. If you are looking to replace the rear sway bar bushings you must replace the mounting brackets along with the bushings since the bushing design has changed. You will need to order: Rear Bushings # 52124302AC and Rear Bushing Mounting Brackets # 52090271AB. Here is the link to the Rear Sway Bar page, scroll down to get to the individual items. If you have any further questions please let us know.

Thank you,
Corey
JustforJeeps.com"

Now I know from reading this thread that I can order the NonSRT Links from BWoody... however, does it seem that I am now forced to buy those triangle mounting brackets to accomodate the "new bushing design" ?

Re: The complete (05-09) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

John,
The part numbers I have here have been superceeded by the new bushing design part #. The bushings are for the sway bar...not the links. The sway bars are held in place by a bracket with a bushing. Those are all that have changed.

Re: The complete (05-09) WK Grand Cherokee suspension thread

Thanks for the quick response Scott, didn't mean to word it the way I did. I know how the saw bar functions V.S. the links and I was planning on doing the job all at once with the new bar and links.... now that I've read it over it makes sense..it's late and i've been up since 5 AM...lol the new mounts and bushings are only about 15 bucks... for some reason i was thinkings the mounts were expensive... Thanks again you Rock.
