I've so far sunk $3500 into my rig in mods in total.

Lift - $350
Shocks - $300
Tires - $790

Self installed with 0 mechanical experience beforehand. Took a good few hours but learned a lot and found a new hobby and possibly my future career in mechanical engineering.

I sold my EGR since i never had any lights pop up on my dash even with aggressive turns.
The spacers will not throw anything off since they are not major in lift.

you might not have Electronic Stability Program (ESP) cuz i couldnt even make a regular turn with out it sounding like gear grinding and my transmission seamed so heavy.

also EGR is affected by tire size and wheel spacers.. correct me if im wrong hahaha

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

I have the Bilstein front struts and they made a night and day difference. but you deff need the rear matching shocks to complete it.

i dnt think spacers has anything to do w/ it. this is directly from the AEV site:

  • Corrects 95% of ESP errors
  • 1 year warranty
  • Speedometer correction (30-37" tires)
  • Enable/Disable reverse mirror tilt
  • Gear ratio correction (3.73 or 4.10)
  • Enable/Disable one-touch lane change
  • Can be restored and reprogrammed
  • Corrects transmission shift points
  • Built for domestic & export models
    (2005-08 WK/XK/WH/XH)
BTW - i'd love to see how anyone can fit 37's on these vehicles
