Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

Thanks for the compliments all. I am so impressed with how it turned out - pics don't do it justice. Now, I just have to see if I can get a full size 265/70/17 in the spare well with that rear hitch mod I've seen. Anybody have opinions on the storage of an uninflated spare? Would it be bad on the tire to keep it uninflated and possibly "smashed" into the spare well space?

^ sick jeep, IMO i would tint ur tail lights, they stick out like a sore thumb

bradley4kc, i dont know about leaving it deflated, might aswell just not have one lol, but over on Jeep Forum they talk about the biggest size u can fit, i think i got a 255/70R18 that i still need to try and stuff in there

Love the look hitch!

In addition to Turbo's tip I'ma toss out the suggestion of blacking out the turn signal as well if you like the idea.

Used VHT Nightshades:

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

Thanks fellas ! I couldn't agree more about tinting the lights. I actually have a set of tinted tails that I took out and replaced with these. I didn't even think about it before tinting them and tinted right over the backup lights. For functionality, I'm gona wait until I get a dually as a back up light before throwing the tinted tails back on.

GCL06- I love the look of the turn signal tint, the only thing stopping me is that, in Maine, I can't get my inspection sticker with any of my lights tinted. I found that out the hard way and had to buy another set of tail lights. Are you able to get that inspected in North Carolina?

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

That looks really good, I wish I had done that. Definitely a necessary mod for us with dark WKs (light ones too!). Too bad i tinted mine all over without thinking about how I was gona back up at night haha. A dually will be my next purchase, so I can put my tinted tails back on.
