agreed, the 3.7s do surprisingly well in the sand and elsewhere. Only time I've gotten stuck was before the lift and tires on a trail I broke through some ice and just had both front tires in a soupy mix of ice, water, and mud. It sucked bc my cousin, who luckily was in a whole other vehicle, had to go get his friend to pull me out. It took him like an hour and a half to find his friend and get back to me.

Thanks for the tip. Hopefully when I get my lift and new tires I can test the wks true potential... these regular tires suck lol

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

Mav383: my sig has the list of mods, but to shorten things up im running a stacked ome lift kit. In total gives me about 4 inches of lift. Running 265/70/17 Goodyear duratracs on stock rims. Gives me lots of room for flex

Also regarding the ESP...as far as I understand without disabling it, it senses if a tire is spinning and applies brakes automatically. Obviously you don't want that to happen while offload. ESP also corrects oversteer/ under steer

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

Quite a bit of mods Evenson. On the roads, I keep ESP turned on, but the backroads I take, I normally turn it off the moment I hit the dirt.

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

Finally did it. I put the RC lift under my jeep, took me about all day. But I have the satisfaction of knowing I did it myself. Now to get my tires put n tomorrow and I will put some pics up.
