Toyo vs. Dunlop

I will be purchasing new tires tomorrow morning can I get some opinions on each? Never dealt with either brand. 245/60/18

Toyo Versado CUV
http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/versado-cuv

or

Dunlop Signature CS
http://dunloptires.com/dunlop/displa...00000&zipCode=

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Toyo vs. Dunlop

The Versado Looks really nice! I was considering the Open Country until I got a steal of a price on the OEM Forteras. The Versado seem to have the same winter rating as the Open Country but almost looks like a car tire. I wonder with the 6000lbs of the Overland if you will get the performance you expect. BTW looks like you are from New York and Western New York is where I picked up the Forteras for $145 each - from the a dealer!

Yea the fortera's are 199 a tire. And the toyo are 189 a tire. Dunlop are 159 a tire. I think I'm gonna go with the toyo. Mines a limited so I think it weighs a little less than the overland.

Re: Toyo vs. Dunlop

Saw Yokohama's to day on the Big Square Mercedes Jeep - they looked really nice. Never considered yokos - perhaps because they weren't available in 245-60-18. But anyway - ya Toyos a good choice. I could not find them for less than 229 each so I moved on.

Re: Toyo vs. Dunlop

The Toyo's are extremely quiet. We were supposed to get a 5-7 inches of snow yesterday but it was really like an inch or 2 so didnt get to see how they handled in the snow. They gave me a little break so it was 180 a tire.

Re: Toyo vs. Dunlop

There are many models I would take over those, but if I had to pick out of the two. Toyos.
