Any suggestions on the best way to get the TPMS sensors removed from a factory set of wheels without breaking them? The wheel shop sprayed some PB blaster on it tonight and said that should do the trick, but I'm not positive that's the end all solution. Should I go buy some myself and keep soaking it tonight and tomorrow? Any other suggestions?
He didn't try yet, I stopped by later in the evening and they didn't have time. He said they are known to break and they aren't responsible if they do - something like costing $100 each to replace. They aren't too bad online, but wouldn't be able to get them quickly should one of them break.
He put on the PB blaster tonight, said it should break it nice and loose by tomorrow after work when I head back. I was wondering if there's anything else I should be doing on my side to make sure nothing breaks.
