WK - WK2 TPMS Sensor compatibility question

Can anyone please advise on the compatibility of the TPMS Sensors please.

I have a 2005WK (well - WH actually, export model) and I need to get a second set of rims and tyres to enable me to refurbish my originals. I have seen a set on Ebay from a 2012WK2 but do not want to have constant warning and bells because the TPMS keeps throwing up errors. I have seen many people indicating that thwy have changed wheels pretty much across the jeep range from one vehicle to another - some with more success that others.

Both sets of sensors transmit on the 433MHz wavelength. Can anyone please confirm that, compatibility is down to wavelength alone (i.e. my combination as above will work?)

I do not want to have to go through the aggravation of having tyres removed and installing replacement sensors if I can avoid it.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
