Do you see a part number on them ? JBA 4.5 and 5.5 are for Liberty and 6.5 for WK and XK
I'll check when I get back home. I think the Liberty arms are wider.

Yeah, mine look to be closer to stock length than yours. I'd also double check that you have the right ones as I've heard of others running the JBA's and I haven't heart that problem before.

Did you ever get around to installing the RR arms? I'm curious how they worked out for you.

I'm still waiting for JBA to send me an answer, the last email they sent me was on May 4th and it said "I am working on it."
Marlin Gehman

My UCAs are sitting in a box until I get a response, when I get back I'll check them again for a part number. This is actually the second set, the first set they sent me was for an SRT8.

Re: Upper Control Arms from Rocky Road Outfitters

Tried to put them in today but failed since I didn't have an 18mm socket deep enough to clear the bolt. I'll have to wait till another time to get them in. I'm as curious as you as to how well they work!

Is the socket for the ball joint or the control arm nuts?

Re: Upper Control Arms from Rocky Road Outfitters

I used two wrenches, one for the nut and a small one for the stud of the ball joint which was I think 10mm or 8mm.

Yeah, I didn't have an 18mm wrench either. You are correct, the stud is 8mm. I tried using a cresent wrench but I could feel the nut start to deform so I stopped. I'll need to let some PB plaster soak on it for a while too, but I'll feel safer putting a lot of torque on it when I have 6 contact faces instead of 2.

It is a common problem, I have heard guys complaining about it for a while. Good to see RRO did not completely copy JBA's design!

Re: Upper Control Arms from Rocky Road Outfitters

Will be interesting to see how this all turns out.
Just looking at the photos provided it looks like:
Stock is 8.3/4"
RRO at 7.7/8" (-7/8")
JBA at 8.5/8" (-1/8")

Hope that is right as normally don't use imperial and they were read on opposite sides of the tape measure.
