Re: Verdict On Spacers (good or bad?)

Did you need spacers for those mambas, which by the way look sexy as hell? And where did you buy them, online or a retail store?

I do not need spacers with them. That is the main reason I bought them.

I bought them from a local shop because 1) they were cheaper then anywhere online and 2) they mounted and balanced them for free.

Awesome. Thanks for all the help. May I ask what price you got them for just so I have a number in my head.

Re: Verdict On Spacers (good or bad?)

i have ebay spacers and haven't run into any problems so far. the important thing is to torque them properly and check them fairly often. i try to rotate my tires every 3k miles so i check my spacers each time i do that.

Thanks! Was there any rubbing after these were installed? Did you need to do the pinch weld mod?

It will rub the plastic fender liner at full lock but that is all. I haven't but plan on doing the pinch weld mod soon.

Re: Verdict On Spacers (good or bad?)

Looks like they've been discontinued. Quadratec used to carry them but now I can't find them anywhere. Ebay maybe.

Re: Verdict On Spacers (good or bad?)

As far as spacers go read my "sticky" thread in the off road modifications sub forum.

Re: Verdict On Spacers (good or bad?)

The Mamba MR-1 (moab) are discontinued, I looked for 2 months only 2 new wheels showed up... not many used. I just got a set of spidertrax spacers... nice piece well worth the coin.
