Question What do you guys think of this idea/set-up?

i want to offroad but i need my jeep for everyday street use with offroading once a week or every 2 weeks so i need to be practical

i originally wanted to get srt8 or srt10 replicas but there not fit for offroading so i decided i wanted fat nitto terra grapplers on 17" mambas.

now im thinking maybe i can get a 2-3" lift and fit srt reps with a pretty meaty terra grappler on there for my daily use and offroading

would this work? i have never seen srt reps with a little lift to fit meaty tires on for offroading on a WK

What do you all think?

It would work, but a/t or m/t tires for that size rim are EXTREMELY expensive.

No, a few of us on here have wanted to see that combo, but its just extremely pricey, ur looking at around a grand for the rims and 2 grand for tires, that's before the lift, labor, shocks and struts, wheel spacers and all the labor involved to the pinch weld mod.

You mean tires and rims for $1600 right? What tire?

I think the 20 inch SRT wheels with meaty tires and a lift would be nasty. Personally, I think the only lift that could pull off the look would be the SL or some stacked combination like omelet has. You need height carry that look off.

idk i just went into a place and asked pricing of the srt reps and they said 1600 with tires the whole package, never asked what kind of tire lol

how tall of a tire do you think a 2 inch lift can fit?

On what size rims?

I would say a majority of us with a 2 inch lift, run 265/70/17.

Re: What do you guys think of this idea/set-up?

if youre gonna do it do it right, you got all winter so sock some money away. go for the 4 in SL and the reps and terra grapplers. it will look sick and you will def stand out but if your gonna do it do it right, btw if you get reps get all 20 x 9.5 or w/e cause the stock srt rear wheels are bigger than the front

Re: What do you guys think of this idea/set-up?

On the reps the sidewal would be much smaller i would reccomend goodyear duratracs cause they have a rim protector. Look up the member sticker bombedd he has 20" rims with terras on a 4" lift see if you like the look
