What has replaced the Grabber AT?

Hello,

Very new to this forum, so let me first take this opportunity to say "Thanks!" for your willingness to share info & knowledge.

Okay...need new tires for my '05 WK Laredo 2wd. It's about 100% sure I'll be moving to the cold & snowy northwestern USA in January, so I'm going to need tires for that environment. Finances dictate only one set of tires, so I'm looking for your recommendations on an all season tire. I've searched and read many threads here....it looks like there's a general consensus that the "best" choice would be from the BFG Rugged Terrain T/A, the Destination A/T, and the General Grabber AT2.

I can't seem to find the AT2 anywhere, I guess it's been discontinued....is there a General Tire replacement that is as good or better?

I appreciate your help.

Respectfully,
John

Re: What has replaced the Grabber AT?

any reputable tire shop can get General tires... call around and ask!

My brother just bought a set of AT2's for his WK about 4months ago.

just put on 255/65/17 general grabber at2's on my 09 4.7. awesome tire. They were hard to come by. Only 4 tires that size in the ohio/ind region. had the local tire shop track them down.
