Wheel change

Does anyone know (I'm sure someone does) I currently have 18x8 wheels and found a great deal on used black Sahara wheels but they are 18x7.5. Would that make a difference with anything? Anything special need to be done?

Re: Wheel change

The difference is that the tires you select must be able to accommodate the narrower rim. Check their specifications...there is usually a range for a given tire for wheel width.

Re: Wheel change

Thanks Jim, the deal includes tires as well. I probably wasn't clear enough with my original post. Can I just pull off the old and put on the new? I hear talk of spacers and offsets. I know nothing about that so that's what I meant to ask.

Re: Wheel change

I can't say what you'll need beyond the wheels/tires. Perhaps others can comment now or when this gets moved to the Tire forum area up above.
