1.5, for sure. Two inches is just that much harder on your bearings and components, and 1.5 will solve most all tire clearance issues, give you a good stance and keep you stable. Honestly one inch would probably be enough, but we don't get jeeps because we want 'enough', haha.
I have no lift, but got the 1.5" Spidertrax Spacers. I love how they made my truck look. Make sure to put plenty of the included Loc-Tite on when you install them. Also take off your wheels and re-check that they stayed tight after 50-100 miles. It's a pain in the butt, but totally worth it. Tighten to factory specs!!
I checked mine after about 135 miles and one was loose. I re-applied some loc-tite and checked the torque was at the correct spec for the rest, which they were.
Here are some shots of the Jeep. You can see how the 1.5" Spacers make them stick out a nice amount.
Hi, also contemplating fitting spacers for more wheel clearance.
Do you find you get more stone chip damage to the paint work or body?
How much is the front wheel tight turn affected? More difficult to turn steering during parking etc?
Increased bearing wear indications?
