Re: Why NO drop? Bilstein Install and FAIL!

The ride quality with my set up is great. It rides freaken awesome and youre able
to take tight turns so much easier. They do not have to be srt eibachs

Yeah, that sounds good! I can have the shop take them off right now! The truck is still on the lift they just put it down to see what the drop was so my brother can send me a pic, so yeah PM me and we can do this let me know how much you would like to get them for that way I can shoot for the SRT ones now! thanks!

Re: Why NO drop? Bilstein Install and FAIL!

So let me get this straight,

If I have SRT springs they will not drop my WK very much right?

Then my best bet is to buy the SRT bilsteins that are lower correct?

and if they are what part numbers do you guys suggest?

Thanks!

Re: Why NO drop? Bilstein Install and FAIL!

while youre at it check your upper control arms
my mechanic realised they had to be replaced when he was doing the whole
springs/shocks swap. Just a heads up. Good luck

Re: Why NO drop? Bilstein Install and FAIL!

just so you know... SRT shocks and springs will drop you like 1-1.5" which is probably what you want... but also, SRT shocks are mucho $$

you get a 5% discount from Peter at JFJ for being a JG.org member if it helps any. And their service is outstanding.

Re: Why NO drop? Bilstein Install and FAIL!

I have SRT springs and OEM WK shocks/ struts - see below. Not sure what I am going to do once the shocks/ struts need replacing. I know this setup will wear out the OEM shocks quicker (supposedly), but I have heard many people talk about how stiff the Bilsteins are; just don't want to make the ride too rough - I have a wife a 2 yr old daughter to keep happy!
