So I have had my Grand Cherokee now for almost 2 years and have decided to upgrade the entire Boston Acoustics sound system. The following are the components I am using.

Head Unit - Pioneer AVH-4400bh
Amp - Alpine PDX-5
Fronts - Boston Acoustics SR60 components
Rears - Boston Acoustics SR65 coaxials
Sub - Boston Acoustics G310-44

Everything went well with running all the wires to the doors and the 4 gauge power wire to the back. When we went to turn on the radio.... nothing, dead! We have 12 volts from the 12v constant but there is nothing coming from the 12 volt ignition. When we supply 12 volts directly from the battery to the 12v ignition the radio turns on and all is good. Just cant figure out why no 12v coming from ignition. I have already checked the fuse for the radio under the dash and it is good. Any help on this would be greatly appreciatted.

Thanks
Dan

I didn't think I needed the CAN Bus Harness because I was not using the existing wiring. The only thing I need off of the harness is Constant Battery +, Ignition, and Ground. On the harness I bought there is a remote turn on (Blue White Stripe) is this the wire you say to splice into? I am going to take my multimeter out and test this wire to see if it works with the ignition.

Thanks
Dan
