Does anyone have any recommendations of where to start troubleshooting?

Camera is clean and unobstructed.

Thanks in advance guys!!

Hi - brand new to the forum - just brought our 2012 GC home tonight with the exact same issue on the rear backup camera. I also noticed that the tailgate lights (interior) light up when i put it in reverse

Assuming you got yours fixed, can you tell me what the cause was ?

Thanks for any info you can provide !

Marc

Just saw this, sorry.

I took it to the dealer and they replaced the camera with one that had a horrible picture.

I ended up trading that piece of junk in. Lol! I bought it preowned with 15k miles and think the previous owner must have had trouble with it too.

Good luck!

Marcus

Thanks - sorry to hear of your troubles with yours ... my dealer is telling me it is a software issue - taking it back in a couple of days and they need to load an updated program that had to get from Jeep - hope it works !
