Audio Puzzle - 2006 Grand Cherokee

My radio/audio system does not always seem to have power. This does not happen all the time and I have not found any pattern to when it might happen, other than cold weather seems to bring on the issue more often.
When I turn on the ignition, I always have power to the radio (shows the time and I can power on the radio), however sometimes (not always) after I turn the key to start the engine (and after the engine is running) I no longer have power to the radio (no radio or clock).

Any ideas?

Check your battery voltages at off/running. Ideally do a load test on the battery as they are SUPER FINICKY with voltages. Second, Ignition switch would be the next thing to check. They go out frequently and are a cheap/easy replacement.

My 2008 Grand will sometime not have power or operate the radio. I have found that turning off the engine, opening and closing the drivers door will make every thing O.K. I suspect its something to do with the alarm/security system ??
