Basslink install

Guys,
I have scoured the forums and the Pinout diagrams but i have hit a bump in the install. I removed the rear quarter panel plastic thinking that i would find a amp nestled back there but all i found was a bundle of wires and 2 separate clips.

Unforutnately the wiring diagrams that are on the WKjeep site do not match up with what i have. If figure i could get the wire colors by pulling the door and dash speakers and see what the colors were, but before i go thru with all of that. Can someone give me a bit of information on the colors of the wires that i need to tap?

I am planning on using the positaps to tap the wire.

Can anyone help me out with this? Please?

Re: Basslink install

OK i kept digging and found some additional info that i think is correct but would love some reassurance on.

Left Front+=Dark Green
Left Front-=Dark Green/Brown

Right Front+= Gray
Right Front-= Gray/Brown

Left Rear+= Dark Green/Dark Blue
Left Rear-= Dark Green/Violet

Right Rear+= Gray/Dark Blue
Right Rear-=Gray/Tan

Being that I do not have the aftermarket amp do these colors correspond with the correct wires?

Re: Basslink install

Look at the first chart on the page. Looks like your spot on with your wire colors.... And YES those are for the non-amplified systems.

Re: Basslink install

ants,

this is the one that i looked at first but my wiring doesn't match the pinouts.

The connectors look the same but the wiring is not the same.
