Re: Boston vs stock wk speaker

IMHO, the boston system is nice, not great, not overly amazing, but nice.

I'm not a huge fan of stock speakers, or stock stereos, but given my profession as a car audio installer, what do you expect.

Thanks Im the same way not a big fan of stock stuff but Im not sure if i want the headache of trying to fit aftermarket speakers since it seems like a pain due to the depth of the factory ones.

Re: Boston vs stock wk speaker

Just upgrade your dash speakers and leave everything else alone. You will not be disappointed.

What do you think of the Kicker 6 speaker package upgrade that includes the Kicker amp for our WK's? I have already added the Kicker Bass upgrade that I got for a steal.

Re: Boston vs stock wk speaker

i did my own upgrade used 6 1/2 in both doors with crossovers and tweeters on the top of the door panel. Also threw in a pair of mids in the dash with a 3 way crossover up front all wired to an alpine 4 channel in the back of the car and the sound is amazing. I can crank it up super loud with no distortion at all.

Re: Boston vs stock wk speaker

How can I tell if I have the BA speakers? My build sheet says it does along with the amp, but there is no visual identification telling me that it does.
