Dash speaker harness adapter???

Does anyone know the Metra model number or any other compatible adapter for the dash speaker harness adapters? I've been searching the net for almost an hour now and can't seem to find an answer. They are smaller than the harnesses for the doors apparently. I have a set of 3.5" Infinity's from a previous vehicle I'd like to swap in but prefer not to cut and crimp to make it easier on myself when I pull them out and put the stockers back in when/if I ever sell my WK.

i dont believe there is an adapter for the front speakers. I dont believe they use the same as the doors.

Re: Dash speaker harness adapter???

Went thru this a few months ago - never found a solution except to use generic quick disconnects.

Re: Dash speaker harness adapter???

I think antsjeep is right. The adapter looks the same as the plug from the picture

Re: Dash speaker harness adapter???

I went ahead and spliced a set of adapters I had ordered before I realized they wouldn't fit in. Worked out fine. I have replaced all the stock speakers now and I am so glad I did. My nav bezel arrived today and I'm going to attempt to install my new double din HU this afternoon. I'll probably take pictures and start a thread on full speaker and HU install. Thanks guys.

Re: Dash speaker harness adapter???

That's what I did too. I just spliced the harness into the factory wiring. It all works fine!

Re: Dash speaker harness adapter???

I also installed the OEM NAV bezel, fitted with an EXAD DVD tuner. Love it.. installation was easy, the hard part is finding the exact fit for the head unit frame that also fits the nav bezel opening.
