Dash speakers question

I have the BA system ad I'm happy with the sound of the door speakers but the lows/mids tend to drown out the highs from the dash speakers in some cases and cause the music to fluctuate between bright and warm. Tried messing with the equalizer but I cannot get the sound to stay consistent.

If I change out the dash speakers to the Infinity Reference Series (or any other suggestion) would that even out the sound field somewhat? I see that they're two-way so I don't know if that will be plug and play.

Re: Dash speakers question

I went with Boston SE's and they sound AMAZING. Especially compared to stock.

Re: Dash speakers question

What kinda EQ you got? To answer your question, I'd go with Pioneers cuz they produce the most crispiest sound I've ever heard & they're pretty loud not to mention.
