Hey, new guy here! I'm from the northern parts of Sweden and "I" got a 2005 khaki 4.7 GC Limited (well, acctually its my dads car, but he's not really a internet-forum user so to speak. ;) ). I did some searching here on the forum and could not find anything about this head unit we bought for the car. Maybe I didn't search enough but anyhow...

I got the one with the older software but I thought I'd share this sweet head unit with you guys! The navigation software was a POS so I installed iGO Primo 2.4. (Sorry to say that there's still some intermittent problems with hooking up to the satellites, currently investigating that). Extremely easy to install, steering wheel buttons work and everything. I've got 2 different reverse cameras from ebay on the way also.

Anyone else got this?

Never seen it...seems like the usual stuff I'd see on meritline or DX. Subscribed for further feedback.

That it is, but I'd rather pay a little for a lot instead of a lot for a little! ;)

... The problems with the satellite connection worked out by locking the device to port=2/baud=9600 and moving the reiciver"head" from the back of the rearview mirror to the dash. Now i have to figure out why the TTS won't work, but it's hardly the head units fault.

And sure it's a gamble buying cheap, for example is the build quality is not really breathtaking! But it still has 1-year guarantee and everything's working fine for my old man.
