ipod interface

I have installed a Mopar ipod interface to my stock head unit REG, The blue wire should be connected to pinout 13 on the back of the Head unit marked up as spare on diagram on head unit!!
the interface plays the music fine but does not charge the ipod. Is the blue wire for the charging and could I just connect it to a live behind the radio.
On later models the pin out 13 is canbus+ is this just a 12v supply??

Re: ipod interface

It looks like the ipod and phone are charged by a newer design plug and the interface may be the old type plug some type of adaptor needed just got to find 1 of those now !!

Re: ipod interface

Now sorted and working fine, a small adaptor that plugs into lead and phone or ipod. Now charges as it plays back,A slight interference hum but works fine.
