kicker upgrade

i think i blew either my right door 6 x 9 or the 3.5 dash speakers so i was just going to upgrade all of my speakers. i was wondering if i can just by all of these and plug them in or are there any additions that i would need to install.

also, i was wondering, i have the original non boston speakers with navi and can you just unplug them of are there any modifications that need to be done to the wires to install the new speakers.

thanks

You cant have the navigation without the boston speakers unless you added the navi after purchase. You can add the kicker speakers as they are plug and play but you wont be able to add the amp without the boston system

yep, all the wires are the same. if you want better sound for less money you will be better off going aftermarket unless you really want plug and play. without the amp the kicker upgrade isnt worth the money they charge for it.

Re: kicker upgrade

Look in the vents on the driver side in the cargo area. You might see an amp in there.

Re: kicker upgrade

Your better off popping off the the rear cargo panel and taking a look in there. Takes no more than 5mins to do.

You'll get a definitive answer if you have an amp in there or not.
