Re: Nav Bezel or No Nav Bezel

My apologies for possibly hi-jacking this thread but i too am looking into installing a OEM navi system in my 08 WK and was wondering if the plastics and unit was simply plug and play? Is there anything additional needed besides the bezel/plastic and the oem navi system?

Re: Nav Bezel or No Nav Bezel

You have an 08 so you are complete PnP. No bezel needed.

Re: Nav Bezel or No Nav Bezel

OEM nav bezel. It looks WAY better than the RAQ bezel IMO

Re: Nav Bezel or No Nav Bezel

has anyone ever installed an aftermarket navigation head unit into their 2008 WK? I was looking at the dimensions and found that the stock bezel only accommodates an 8 1/8" x 3 3/4" where as the unit I was looking at (Alpine INA-W910) is 7" x 4". Would I need a new bezel to accommodate the .25" inch difference in height and 1.12" in length?

I'm fairly sure iv seen people make a filler for it. Wouldn't be hard to do if its .25 all the way around, just find a piece of plastic that matches the nav bezel, mark your sizes and cut to fit. But you also may be able to buy a filler for it but I'm not sure about that.
