Red face Navigation bezel

Has anyone seen a navigation bezel that is similar to the stock non-navigation bezel but still has a double din opening like shown in the pioneer for guide? If not does anybody know if the 2008 navigation bezel fits the 2007 grand Cherokee? I just don't want that huge navigation bezel holding a smaller aftermarket navigation stereo.

Re: Navigation bezel

i know you can cut the regular radio bezel to fit. I also know that the 2008+ will not fit 2007 and below because actual dashboard is different. the vents wont fit and there will be a gap above it where the dash extends out on the 2008s. i agree though i hate the nav bezel for the 2005-07 i think its clunky and breaks the whole dash up.

Re: Navigation bezel

Do you know how to custom fit the stereo without having those stupid empty semicircles showing?

Re: Navigation bezel

Like the one on the pioneer fit guide website had no holes and no creases but thats impossible with regular bezels because the measurements aren't right.

Re: Navigation bezel

im pretty sure that the double din is bigger than the regular bezel and that you would have to cut a new square out of it to fit which would go wider than the circles ... i think the size of the regular radio is 1.5 din or something like that. i know ive seen templates for the mygig which is a double din and they cut over the circles

Re: Navigation bezel

Are you sure about that, because it looks like the margin in that picture is wider than the margin between the sides and the semicircles.

Thumbs down Re: Navigation bezel

I believe that the standard double din is 7" wide so I'm gonna guess that. And I measured my radio so the semicircles are gonna show
I just need to fill them or somehow cover them up but I'm no master craftsman so any ideas?

Re: Navigation bezel

There should be holes in that picture because of such small margins between the sides and the holes. Look at that picture in comparison to this one.
http://www.google.com/m/search?site=...bezel&sa=N#i=4
Whoever did this hides the holes very well or maybe he just got a different bezel.

Re: Navigation bezel

You're right... Any in NJ? You could just stop by that audio shop and ask or someone call. Cuz it looks clean!
