Re: need some ideas to put subs in....

Heck yeah!

They have a room, about 12x10 which they display all of them. They have hooked up to a home stereo Reciever(since they run at ~60W @ 4Ohms) and they play them one by one.

As soon as they hit the 15"...... You're blown away!!! The thig pushes itself around one the ground, small movement, but damn!! Haha

I love bass, and these kick a$$. He played all 3 twelves for me once and I seriously was about to ask him to shut it off as it got very hard to breath lol (I'm 21)

Re: need some ideas to put subs in....

LOL! wow i really want a sub like that. Mine when i turn it up 3/4 its hard to breath especially comming from a little 10. People think im packing dual 15's in the trunk. the most important thing about any stereo is the power you have to drive all the equipement. Most people with one 12 cant even power it fully, with lights dimming when you crank it.

Re: need some ideas to put subs in....

Haha exactly. I couldn't fathom the power Toby's operate at!

Crazy small amount and huge sound. I believe there is a YouTube video showin their 15" shaking the crap out of some ford explorer!

My buddy has his 12" Toby in place of his center console(between the captians chairs) in his silverado (and he added cup holders haha) it's a beast!! Just bridged channel 1-2 and it's about at max power for the sub. Hits like no other

Re: need some ideas to put subs in....

Do it! No other matches their quality and sound

Literally all hand made, from the sub woofer itself to the box

http://jeepgarage.org/showthread.php?t=2075

Check that thread for install help and what you will need. I have 1 10" SSA ICON and a 15" Audiobahn...I switch them out for road trips and when I want MOAR bass. That Sundown1000 has been a BEAST and is perfect for one bad sub...heck it could prolly power two mid-level subs just fine (1000 RMS)...been almost 3 years now and still thumping like a champ.
