I own a Nokia car kit CK-300, used to be placed in my previous car (VolksWagen with Pioneer car stereo), providing music streaming over bluetooth (A2DP), automatic output muting during phone call, hands-free speaking (external mic).
The car kit requires a car stereo auxiliary input to work correctly (streams audio through that) and needs to split loudspeaker's cables in such a way it can stand between original car stereo and loudspeakers to allow muting during phone call. To achieve this it uses special plugs, typically used on euro-based car stereos.
I have asked to an official Chrysler technician if the kit above can be coupled with the REJ car system
in my MY2007 WH Grand Cherokee, however the man stated that there's no possibility to achieve this because GC's REJ stereo has an external amplifier and there's no way to achieve coupling.
I'm asking myself if this man knows what he's saying or not.
Can you help?
P.S. - I have attached the kit installation instructions, hoping an expert can briefly make certain the truth!
