Peripheral CHYP Ipod Kit / Ipod Classic Incompatability

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has had an issue with the Peripheral CHYP (yes its the old one!) with the new Ipod Classic 160gig?

I have an issue with it trying to use CHP2 to playback the Ipod when it only works on CHP1. If I use my Iphone 4S it picks up on CHP1 and plays perfectly if I then unplug the Iphone and plug the ipod in it works perfectly.

Its almost like the interface cant unpause the Ipod and pick it up on CHP1.

I know this is an incompatibility with the Ipod software, just wanted to see if anyone had similar issues or ideas how I can fix?

I have spoken to PAC Audio and they recommend the iSimple ISCH73, has anyone used it with the new Ipods?

Thanks in advance!
