Really? That sounds like best option! So basically an REF will do?

My WH has the RAR head unit..has different buttons to the ones shown there. Also says anti theft on front so guessing that would rule out the plug n play replacement option?

Yes. Nothing wrong with mine. Im just over burning CD's. Go on ebay and do a search. Scroll down when you find a replacement and it'll tell you every vehicle its compatible with. The swap will take like 5 mins. Just pry the bezel off with a flathead, undo the 4 screws, unplug the old, plug in the new and then put screws and bezel back on. Simple process.

I did it to mine its from I believe 06 or 07 commander plug and play
