Re: Radio Swap

just curious...... if you dont know anything about the mygig how do you know you want one? lots of people on here have done the swap, the site already has all the answers if you search. the new sirius antenna is just an additional antenna to add to the roof. it doesnt look like the stock one and it is also like $10-$20

http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_nav_2.htm

here is what it looks like in an 05-07 with the bezel adapter

One of the reasons I went with an aftermarket NAV. I wasn't concerned with keeping a factory look. I ended up getting a NAV system, bezel, and all needed adapters for less than what I could have got a MYGIG for.

Not to mention with the MYGIG I would have also needed a lockpick which is at least another $200.

The MYGIG is a nice radio, but if you're not concerned with maintaining a factory look, there are cheaper alternatives elsewhere.

im not to concern with keeping the aftermarket look but i am concern on keeping functions of my rear dvd i know some vehicles if u go aftermarket u lose functions like my buddy has a buick rainer and if he goes aftermarket he loses functions of his rear dvd and i dont want that
