radio wont stay on with a PAC C2R-CHY4

I'm running a jvc navi with a PAC C2R-CHY4 and radio keeps shutting off and turning on, its getting on my nerves, can anyone tell me if i need to add a relay for my power thanks, oh and its in a 08 JGC WITH BOSTON SYSTEM.....

Sounds like the PAC module is either faulty and needs to be replaced, or it needs it's software to be redone. The PAC harness controls the power, so if your OEM radio wasn't randomly shutting off in a similar fashion, it's likely the PAC. Then again, you could also have a faulty JVC unit as well. No relay is needed for an aftermarket radio.

Jvc unit works fine it never gave me a problem when I had my sound system, this problem happen the very 1st day I installed the new pac I also tried a new alpine radio and it does the same thing don't wanna spend money on another harness for it to do the same

Always best to tap a good and solid power source instead of relying on existing wiring IMHO. Get that relay installed and report back.
